We finally heard from Elder Rogers! 7 days has seemed like an eternity without a word from him. We miss him so much already, to get our first letter and to hear that he is loving it is like Christmas in August!
Bon jour,
So the MTC is crazy! There is never a time where we get a break! I JUST WANT TO TAKE A SIESTA but there is no time for that! My companion is nice, a white boy from Utah that lived on some military base. He is nice and we're getting along great! He is SUPER quiet and a little awkward, but that'll change after being my companion! hahaha!
Anyways, I love how quick I am learning the language! French is so amazing, and I'm learning it so quickly! It's only been 5 days and I am learning so much and so fast! I love it! We actually get to teach this investigator in ALL FRENCH! It's tough but I do love it! She is really nice! Her name is Yolandi and she is from Quebec! She's like 21!
So the MTC is nice, but for those future missionaries, I am warning them, DONT DRINK THE ORANGE JUICE! It tastes good...but you´ll have the runs all day! hahaha! but its good, I get a little home sick at times, but it's a small bit of it! I got to go to the temple today and it was so amazing. The Provo temple was amazing.
An elder in my district knows Nacho Libre just as much as I do and we spend a ton of time together cracking up and quoating it together! I love it! haha I laughed soooo hard one day talking about it! I think everybody knows that I watched a ton of movies, so they always ask me if I have watched this movie or that movie. It's awesome! I'm glad to serve a mission and I don't regret it one bit!

MTC- Au Revoir for now
Elder Rogers entered the MTC (Missionary Trainning Center) in Provo, Utah today. It was a bitter, sweet experience for the family. We love him so much and we are so excited for the amazing experiences that are before him. We are sad to not have him with us for the next two years but we know Heavenly Father needs him else-where. He is in the Lords hands and we have faith that he will be blessed. We know that through him many people in France will have the opportunity to hear about the happiness the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring into their life's.
This is his MTC mailing address:

Blog Tittle
When I initially decided to keep a blog for Elder Rogers I did not think that coming up with a blog address would be so complicated and that our family would be so opinionated. After 2 1/2 hours of inside jokes, memories and lots of laughs we finally all decided on an address! callofdutyinfrance.blogspot.com We thought we would share some of our list. If you know Elder Rogers, you will understand how and why we came up with some of the names. At times we would run out of creative ideas and very random things would be thrown out and the laughs kept coming. Enjoy our list!
